Two different speeds matter. The Speed number is what zones and the World 2 portal ask for. Riding a pet is extra movement on the way home. Training raises the number. A mount does not replace the treadmill, and the treadmill does not replace a ride.
Order that matches the blockers
- Open any cage and place the pet. A recorded ride only worked after the pet was placed.
- Ride your best practical mount on every cage trip.
- Train on the treadmill when the next zone or portal number is still above you.
- Upgrade the treadmill when the same training time is the bottleneck. One session bought level 2 for about 5,000 cash. Another reached level 4 after a plot upgrade. Read your own panel.
- Equip a trail for a treadmill multiplier, then a Training talisman if gems allow it. You can equip only three talismans.
A recorded ride showed about 1.2x movement. That was one pet, not a multiplier for every mount. Another session's Secret Gold Hyena, which made $50 a second, barely changed how fast the run felt. Rarity text is not a Speed stat.
Trails versus talismans
Trails are bought in the Trail Shop with cash or Robux. Their published multipliers run from 1.5x on the Gray Trail to 10x on the Divine Trail. The full table is on the equipment page.
One 31 October tutorial bought a Green Trail for 500 during the opening quest. The published shop table lists Gray at $500 and Green at $5,000. Use the price on the button you are looking at.
Talismans are bought with gems or Robux from the Talisman Shop. Training talismans add treadmill Speed. Swift talismans add running Speed. They are listed with the trails.
Guides call the second currency gems or diamonds. Buy with whichever label your shop shows. Do not assume they are two wallets until the game says so.
When to stop training
Stop when your Speed meets the next zone you actually plan to enter. The zone table is on Zones. Pushing toward the Black Hole number while Honey Meadow cages are still failing wastes the run.
The Speed Demon badge is awarded at 1 million Speed. That is a milestone, not the World 2 gate. World 2 is reported at 200 billion.
